Face it. Fruits can make you glow in more ways than one.

1. Papayas
 

“A papaya contains the enzyme papain, making it an excellent cleanser. It also helps revive blemished
and undernourished skin. It is particularly good for oily skin and also lightens skin colour,” says beauty
expert Shahnaz Husain.

* Use ripe papaya pulp as it is or mix with oatmeal, honey or curd and apply on your face for 10 minutes.
Rinse off with cold water when dry.
* Put a mix of papaya and cucumber pulp under the eyes to minimise dark circles.

2. Apples

“Apart from vitamins and minerals, apples also contain pectin and tannin that help tone and tighten the
skin and improve blood circulation. Apples are specially effective for those with sensitive and fair skin,”
says natural beauty expert Suparna Trikha. 

* To take care of sunburnt skin, add a teaspoon of glycerine to apple pulp (grate the apple or put in
mixie) and apply on your face for fifteen minutes. Wash off with cold water.

 
* For tired and undernourished skin, mix two teaspoons of grated apple, two pieces of mashed papaya,
one teaspoon of fresh cream and a teaspoon of China clay. Apply the mixture to a clean face and leave
for 15 minutes. Wash off with cold water for healthy-looking skin.

3. Bananas

“Fresh, ripe bananas make excellent face masks. Bananas don’t only tighten and cleanse pores, they also
revitalise dry skin,” says Dr Shobha Sehgal, head of business, day spa and beauty zone, VLCC. 

* Mash two ripe bananas with a tablespoon of honey. Smooth over the face and leave for 10-15
minutes. Rinse with cold water to reveal soft, supple and hydrated skin.

4. Oranges

“The citrus family is best known for its astringent and toning properties. Rub fresh orange peel on your
skin to tighten it and lighten the colour,” says beauty expert Shahnaz Husain.  

* Take the juice of two oranges and freeze it in an ice tray. Rub your face with the frozen orange juice
cubes whenever you need to look good after a tiring day. The orange juice will give your tired, dull and
oily face an instant pick-me-up sheen.

5. Pomegranates

“Pomegranates are excellent for oily and combination skin. Rich in AHA, pomegranate juice acts as an
astringent and is a natural toner too,”
 
* Pound pomegranate seeds and use as a face scrub. This will remove excess oil and make your skin look
fresh.

* Using cottonwool, massage around 50 ml pomegranate juice on your face for 10 minutes. Wash off for
an instant glow.

 
How to glow your skin

Bad skin gives bad impression. Fast food and other packed juices make the scenario worst. Your
skin reflects what you eat everyday.

To glow you skin

 Exercise every day. Make sure you walk for 30 minutes everyday. I seat in front of computer for
more than 8-10 hours everyday, walking helps me to keep tab on overall fitness.
 Drink lots of water. I drink 8-10 glasses of water and see your skin glow.
 Include fresh fruits (apple, orange and other fruits) everyday. A bowl of fresh salad for lunch and
dinner is must everyday.
 Milk and curd is a must daily.

Try to avoid:

 Eat homemade food "I used to eat at office cafe every afternoon. It was all junk food. Now I had
instructed my cook to come early and make my lunch. I carry roti, dal, rice and subji everyday
with me . Carrying food from home is one the best decision I had made ever.
 Say no to oily food and restrict quantity of all sweets, nuts etc. If your skin is really a bad avoid
all of these for 3-6 months (I eat sweet once a week).

apply honey,basen and milk past on you face for 4-6 hrs and clean it with cold water.

Do 30 min jogging, 15-20 min breath(yoga) in fresh air, 7-8 glass of water, avoid direct
contact with sun and keep ur skin clean!!

daily i get up at 4.30 morning and start the day by taking two glass of luke warm water
followed with pranayam….. and in rest of the day drink atleast 3 liters of water. Avoid
drinking water in between and jst after the meals.

Hi friends , u can do a easy home facial at home to glow ur face , take off of banana and
add milk , make a fine paste massage ur face and neck for 10 to 15 min , than let it dry for
10 min , wash ur face with cold water c the difference , it feels so soft and good , regular
massage helps ur skin to glow and gives u fairness ..

hi i want to consult that how my skin will glow whenever i used to go out in summer my
face became so dark i even cant sit with anybody. i washed my face thrice in a day so plz
tell me what should i do.

For Black Circles on faces ………. its problem with sexual instability ………….. if you

Ever thought of using seasonal fruits to make nourishing face packs and as fruit facials at the comfort of your
home? Well you can choose from bounty of fruits like grapes, tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons and prepare a
moisturized and beneficial fruit facial for your skin in your home itself. Isn’t that wonderful! Just crush the pulp or
squeeze them in blender and apply as quickly before the fruit vitamins lose their potency. Remember they are not
only rejuvenating, refreshing but also economical as well as highly moisturizing for your skin.

Cucumber has cooling effects and can improve your dull and greasy complexion. Mix the juice of one small cucumber
with a tsp of rose water and apply on your skin. Leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it off with flowing water.

Watermelon juice can be also applied on your face and neck to fresh up your skin. Make sure to Leave it for 15
minutes and then wash off with Luke warm water.

Coconut water can also be used. Rubbing coconut water on the skin not only lightens and brightens your skin but
also cure the areas which are affected by heat rashes. Make sure you leave the skin applied with coconut water for at
least 15 minutes to gain all the effect, and then wash it off using water.

Grapes are rich in sugar, vitamin and minerals, take out its pulp and apply on the wrinkles, around your eyes and
mouth. It will moisturize, detoxify the nourish your skin,

You can even apply papaya pulp on your face for 15 minutes. Later wash it with water. This will be useful on
blackheads, blotchy or sallow skin.
Remember that nothing looks more attractive than a smooth healthy skin, so just make use of the above fruit facials
to increase the glow of your skin
