    Assembly Instructions Notation Key

    1. Carefully cut out the parts.


    2. Fold along the dotted lines, making mountain

    Assembling the buzzing top


    *Instructions that are the same for both types
    are based on the round type buzzing top.

    Assembling the main part

    Put glue on the backs of


    sides A and B of the top
    that are now attached
    together, place the cut-out

    and glue them together.

    Cut out parts A and B that will make up the main part, when gluing together.
    and glue them onto the glue spot of the protruding part.

    Once glued together, cut along the red line type by pinching them over the tips.

    Attaching the string

    Pull a string (strong, thick string, 60-80 cm long)


    through the completed top as shown in the diagram. Tie the ends of the string together and the buzzing top is complete.

    How to play with the buzzing top


    *Instructions are based on
    the round type buzzing top.

    Apply a twist to the string

    1. Hold both ends of the string.


    2. Place the top in the middle of the string.
    3. Move your hands and use the weight of the
    top to make the top spin and the string twist.
    The top can be spun in either direction.
    4. It will continue spinning about 30-50 times.

    Pull the string and make the top spin

    1. Once the string is wound up, pull it outwards


    to the left and right at the same time.
    2. When you pull the string, it will untwist,
    and the top will start to spin.
    If the top wobbles, it is spinning while fallen
    over. In that case, start again from step .

    Repeat the movements while matching the top's spin

    1. Pull less tightly on the string as it untwists.


    2. Inertia from the top's spin will make
    the string twist again.
    3. Repeat steps and
    as the top spins faster it will cut through
    the air and make a buzzing sound.
    Enjoy the different sounds and colors
    of the top.

    Note: Do not pull the string too hard - doing so


    may cause it to tighten around your finger.
