Sodium Stearate = 9g x 0.2857142857 = 2.57g
Purified Water = 5ml x 0.2857142857 = 1.43 ml
Instructions: Search 20 drugs that are available as suppository and fill in the table.
Procedure:
1. Prepare 30g only.
2. Heat the glycerin in a suitable container to about 120F.
3. Dissolve the sodium stearate with gentle stirring in the heated glycerine then add purified water.
4. Mix and immediately pour the hot mixture in a suitable mold (if made of metal) previously heated and
is used while hot.
5. Cool the suppository completely before removal from the mold.
6. Packed individually with a foil. Label.
