stage performances, video production and other activities that are intentionally crafted to catalyze the
growth of our members.

● Strive to engage in many volunteering opportunities to increase our civil engagement within the
Greensboro, NC community, all while professionally developing our members with interest in fashion
merchandising, food & nutrition, financial planning, and child development through activities and
programs to prepare us for opportunities within the career path we choose.
Her Campus- Online Magazine
● Mission is to provide an online hub for NCA&T‘s women and men to express themselves and gso
professional skills. Provides content that is both resourceful and filled with entertainment, highlighting
campus news, events, interesting students, faculty, alumni, campus photos, and fashion and lifestyle
content specifically tailored for women and men at NCA&T. Student staff members will gain
journalism, marketing, publicity, and digital media experience, and all students at NCA&T will gain a
new and fun online resource through this online publication.
Boyd Initiative Classes
● a free, interactive, 5-session program geared towards creating more spaces for Black college students in the
media and advertising industry. The program offers mentorship, networking opportunities with major
companies and invaluable industry insight.
