1. ABOUT C2D
The aim of the C2D is to fill the gap between student preparation and the exam. For last six months
we have been getting messages, mails and comments where students repeatedly ask how to prepare
for the exam. In C2D we not only address this issue but we become the guiding mentor to the
students in this journey. C2D is a guidance program and not a coaching class model. It is designed to
make students capable of cracking design entrance exam themselves. If a student is ready to commit
and prepare according to the schedule, we are here to stand beside her/him in case of any doubt.
Features of C2D:
1. Live Doubt Sessions (Saturday and Sunday: 1.5+ Hour Session): Session on Saturday on
Design Awareness/GAT or Part-A of the exam and on Sunday session will be for Drawing/Design
or Part-B of the exam. This includes a brief discussion on the topics of the week. Followed by
doubts by students. These doubt sessions are scheduled on the 15th day of the cycle.
a. Initially Master’s and UG doubt sessions will be held together but gradually as we move
ahead Master’s sessions will be separate.
2. 10+ Sectional Tests for PART-A of the exam based on the time table. Each test will include 10-15
questions on gk/theory, 5 questions on NAT/PYQ and 5 Quantitative aptitude questions.
3. 50+ Assignments: 2 Assignments per week. These assignments are evaluated and returned to
students with feedbacks.
4. 10+ Design Test. Again, test will be evaluated and returned to students with feedback. This test
will be part of discussion on Sunday session.
5. 8 Full Tests: Full tests will start from October or from the commencement of Phase II of the time
table. Full tests will be based on the exam pattern of NID/CEED/UCEED and NIFT.

2. THE STUDY PLAN
The time table or the study plan is divided into cycles. Each cycle is of 15 days. Each cycle consist of 4
drawing assignments and one design test. It also includes a sectional test based on the topics of that
cycle. On 14th and 15th day of each cycle live doubt sessions are conducted.
Now, each topic of time table repeats itself during this time period (i.e. 20th July to 17th January). For
example: Cycle-4 = Cycle-1 + Extra Topics. This is done to ensure that proper time is given to revision
and also, students can cover their backlogs. Therefore, a student joining mid-session can cover each
topic during that particular cycle. Although, joining the study plan from the beginning is
recommended.
Part: This denotes the categorization of topics according the exam pattern. For example: Part-A
denotes the GAT section for NIFT or MCQ/MSQ/NAT for CEED/UCEED and DAT for NID.
Test Date: For the convenience of the students test dates and assignment dates are mentioned in
the time table itself.
Type: We have categorized the topics asked in the exam according to the approach that should be
applied while attempting them. Let’s understand these “types” used in the study plan.

3. TYPE OF TOPICS
For topics asked in Part-A, we have categorized the topics into 3 categories (we have created a video
on this please watch it to understand better: Click Here)
Observation Based Topics: These topics are not meant to be memorized. They are supposed to be
analyzed visually. We will discuss about it in the live sessions.
Technology/Jargon Based Topics: These are theory topics and need concept clarity.
Conventional Topics: These are general IQ based question and generally asked in all entrance
exams.
For Part-B i.e. drawing/sketching/design topics in NID/CEED/UCEED and NIFT we have divided topics
into 3 categories.
Concept Based Topics: These are theoretical topics that enhance your design understanding and
necessary to attempt any design question.
Creative Thinking Based Topics: These topics require understanding problem from various
perspective and inter-relating them. It is this section that distinguishes a design from a sketch.
