Audit execution:
The audit was performed at CPF over 3 days in the period from 29-
31 October 2018. The purpose of the audit was to identify the
compliance of BAPCO to HSE regulation and industry standards.
Proceedings:
Welcoming remarks from BAPCO.
Biography of meeting participants.
Introduction of audit scope by GDHSE.
Brief introduction about the BAPCO and its management systems.
Comments:
Productive meeting featuring good and relevant information about
the company management system and history of HSE status.
CPF staff were open and cooperative through the supervision
activity.

Collection and review of selected CPF management system
documentation.
The work permit system at location was presented and discussed.
Emergency preparedness readiness was discussed, with focus on
available equipment.
We inspected several control rooms and process areas.
We interviewed Engineer/ Mohmed Yosif Modawi DCS operator
supervisor and Engineer/ Alsmoal Soliman Khalid maintenance
technician about qualification requirements, recruitment,
maintenance system and managing contractors.
A full scale firefighting drill was performed at the CPF site.

- During the meeting, some issues are discussed related to previous
GDHSE inspections and must be treated this points Represented
in the following:
o The firefighting net in the base camp is out of serves.
o No foam system could caver the power plant.
o H2S fixed detectors.
o Expire chemicals.
o Contaminated soil.
o The shortage of man power especially in HSE staff.
