    3 Coarse Visual Alignment


    Visual Alignment Tool Quick Guide P/N: IDOC005, Rev: A. After the Visual Alignment Tool is mounted on the ODU, as shown in the figure below, perform coarse

    1 Purpose
    This Quick Guide is a handy reference guide that details how to use the Visual Alignment Tool to perform coarse
    visual alignment of the local and remote EtherHaul 1200™ family ODUs with integrated 1ft (31cm/12.2”) antenna.
    Alignment is part of the EtherHaul 1200™ installation process.
    Perform the coarse visual alignment with the Visual Alignment Tool, and then perform the fine alignment
    procedure as explained in the "Aligning the Antenna" section of the “EH-1200 Installation and User Manual”.

    2 Mounting the Visual Alignment Tool


    The Visual Alignment Tool may be mounted on the top of the ODU or on the side of the ODU (whichever is more
    accessible and allows free viewing). Slide the Visual Alignment Tool onto the top/side of the ODU by aligning the
    plate of the tool with the groove and the pin of the tool in the screw hole underneath the groove.

    both Local and Remote ODU, proceed with
    fine alignment.

    Be sure to insert the Visual Alignment Tool from the back of the ODU (slide it in from
