Notes For RS485 Communication Wiring Diagram:

1. Field connection = (Used only with optional J-Box)

2. All wiring must be installed and used in accordance with the national electrical code

Connections for all 3K Spec 200 Series with codes.
719 Electronics.
3. All wiring gauge is minimum required, continuous without splicing, stranded wire with
THHN Insulation must be used. Do NOT reuse old wire from an existing installation.
RS485
4. Use only rigid metal conduit. Do not use PVC conduit.
Personality Module
5. Absolutely no daisy chaining of data wires. Damage to the dispenser or console will re-
(121992) sult. Do not connect these wires if unit is used without a console.

(FUEL COMMUNICATION) 6. Bennett recommends that the RS485 wires for fuel and (optional) Card Readers are twist-
ed at least 3 times per foot.
