I. Virtual trading account opening and portfolio building (Day 1) 11/19/20

a.) How did I open my virtual trading account?

Step 1 – Go to www.kisschart.com/trade. This link will lead you to a virtual trading

platform as shown below.

Step 2 – Sign up. For you to retrieve your previous trading session, you need to
sign up by clicking “Sign in” in the upper left corner of the platform encircled.
Then, a message will appear as shown below. Choose one of the alternatives,
whether to sign up using Facebook or Gmail account.

Step 3 – Select listed companies to invest in. After I sign in, you can now access
kisschart trading platform.

But before I buy the stocks I just used a technical analysis where you can
study the trend in a specific company.
Step 4 – Enter your order. If you have already chosen your companies to invest in,
you are now ready to execute a trade.

b.) How did I build my portfolio?

On my first day, I invest my asset in SGP Company since I study the chart
base on the company, it shows higher potential to increase its price and at the same
time I can earn profit drastically in a period of time because I bet all my assets in
SGP Company or “all-in” because I didn’t feel any risk at all because I know it is
fake, just want to play this like a game for the sake of grades. What I did for the
whole duration of the market is that I just keep monitoring the fluctuations of price on
the shares of the company. You must very active in monitoring the price if you want
to earn so badly, if you prefer long term then patience is a virtue.

II. Portfolio monitoring DAY 2 (November 18, 2020)

On my second day, I realized that I should take this seriously and assume that
the money that I had poured in to the shares is at stake just like a real trader do. So
before I start spending my money, I will do a research wherein I can invest my
money safely and surely will earn a profit. Based on the kisschart; the financial,
industrial and holding firms are the best sectors to invest in that can help me in the
future. The shares that I bought yesterday surprisingly goes up and it was more that I
had anticipated.

The picture above is my final output in day2, I maximize my asset in trading

and invest in multiple companies as you can see I try to invest in 3-4 companies like
MARC, VUL, CAT, and FEU at a time because it raise chances to earn more profit
and also might increase chances of getting a loss. At the end of the day I somewhat
feel satisfied and blessed because of the results. It really went up just like I
expected.

Portfolio monitoring DAY 3 (November 23, 2020)

On my last day, I still use the same process and methods to examine and
select a listed companies through background checking using technical analysis that
I invested and by that I was able to come up with a positive results.
As you can see in my portfolio I don’t have any specific companies in mind
because I based my investing activities on those companies that have greater
economic conditions since in this time of pandemic our economy is fluctuating. For
the last 3 days I’ve gone trading, I would like to invest more in this kind of activities
with real money simply because you’ll gamble your asset for high return or loss and
want to become a trader someday.

So the cash I accumulated from selling the shares all in all totaled
106,031.04 Php. So how the selling experience makes me feel? I feel impatient
sometimes and irritated. Impatient when the stocks go down it is unpredictable or
unknown when it will rise again and at the same time it’s really tiring to monitor the
chart since there is no pattern of time and impatiently sell stocks at a short time
because I believe in a saying that “bahalag ginagmay, basta kanunay” without
considering its capability to produce a long term profit. I feel also irritated because
when I try to sell or buy the stocks on that price when the time I click the sell or buy
button it immediately increases when I bought it or it decreases when I try to sell it.
III. Reflection Paper on Virtual Trading Experience.

We all know that there are many ways to earn money. Although it’s hard but
you just have to be wise in life and be practical. I’m so glad that this subject ACC212
had introduced us this kind of activity where you’ll be exposed to many markets that
involve virtual stock trading and in the long run you’ll encounter certain advantages
and disadvantages and experience what a real life trader is like.

For the 3days experience of being a fake trader, I realized you need not only
a decent knowledge and risk management but also you need stable internet
connection and appropriate device where you can trade conveniently like computer
or a laptop. If you’re planning to invest, don’t be too impulsive in trading or invest it
just because you have a lot amount of cash doesn’t mean you aren’t losing any of it
in trading. Please do some research and be careful in buying and selling of the
stocks. Doing some research will be a great advantage that can help you profit safely
and surely. Do some precautionary measures also before you buy or sell the shares
because as I had experience for example when I buy shares and it’s just only 275
pesos and bought 300 shares when the time I buy, it fluctuates up to 280 pesos so
you need to be careful. Trading is like gamble too, it depends on time and luck. For
me the best way to earn money is maximize your asset. Don’t be dependent on one
company and invest not just only one but more companies. You can be a short-term
or long-term investor if you want. Short-term investor is a playing safe method but
you need to check its price from time to time and technical analysis will be a
prodigious help, while long-term investor is investing on a company like Dito a
Telecommunication Company, fundamental analysis is more likely to be used as
approach. Unlike other telecom companies whose shares are now expensive, Dito
on the other hand is still affordable. Why do I root for Dito it’s because I know Dito
will surely “boom” next year when its operation starts to commence because right
now, it’s one of the most anticipated companies.

All in all I can say that trading is a give and take experience where you can
earn highly or loss likely. Don’t make trading as your primary source of income but
only as a subsidiary. Before you indulge an activity like trading, be equip with proper
knowledge, advice from experts and efficiently manage your asset.
