Commitment to the Profession A
Comments:
Khawla was ready for her lesson and seemed excited and prepared.
- She used a range of materials.
- Students had opportunities to work on their own and as a group.
- Khawla catered to most learning styles. She had all the activities prepared, and this
was not an easy task, as her lesson combined several activities.
Planning for Learning B
Comments:
- Khawla set the stage for her lesson by a warm greeting and a video which captured
the attention of her students.
- The icebreaker activity was well planned and suited the ability/needs of the students.
Note: When you direct the students to focus while listening because you will ask them
questions, please give an overview of the post-listening questions

Managing Learning B
Comments:
 The lesson was broken logically into stages, and the planning was accurate in terms of
timing and content.

 Questions / activities were carefully prepared to ease the students into each
subsequent activity. Pre-requisite knowledge was checked before doing an activity.
She ensured to check pre-requisite skills.

 She used elicitation effectively throughout the lesson, so it was clear that her
students were following the lesson well and understood the concepts and
instructions.
 In this lesson Khawla used a variety of learning resources (Nearpod, Kahoot etc.)
which kept students engaged and also provided support to suit different kinds of
learners.
 Finally, accurate and hard work was rewarded

Implementing Learning B
Comments:
You built in challenging and realistic timelines for activities.
Appropriate content was provided, and you managed to open and close the lesson
effectively.
- I am only concerned about the number of high-tech tools used, and I wonder if
Grade 1 students would be able to cope with these tools.
- Please consider using fewer online tools. Use one and go slower, especially with KG
students.
Assessment A

Comments:
The conclusive/wrap-up activity was authentic and up to student’s level.
You used language appropriate for all the students in the class.
If a student did not understand, you rephrased accordingly.
I would say the goals of this lesson were achieved.
