    Section One

    Outside Influences

    1. Think of an experience you have had in your lifetime in which your decisions
    were greatly affected by outside influences. These influences could be people,
    places, events, etc. that changed the way in which you responded in a given
    situation. Write a summary of the experience and describe in detail the outside
    influence.

    Section Two
    Internal Conflicts

    2. Think of an experience you have had in your lifetime where you had to make a
    tough decision. Much like the cartoon angel v. demon-on-the-shoulder routine,
    describe the options you had in this situation and how you arrived at the final
    decision.

    Section Three
    Modern Day Example

    3. Thinking about the holiday season and the spirit of giving that is present in our
    story, describe a time where you were either helped in some way during the
    holidays or a time where you were the one helping others. Describe the original
    event, and rewrite how it could have been otherwise without the help.
