Instructions for Charging:
The built-in rechargeable lithium battery can be charged in the following ways:
1) Use the USB cable to connect to your computer or laptop
2) A blue light will appear to indicate that the battery is charging. A yellow light means the battery has
been fully charged. (Batteries need to be at 100% charge which may take about 3 hours.)
Note:
1: The letter T will indicate when the batteries are running low or when the memory card is full. Also, the
DV red and blue lights will flash to indicate that the recorder is shutting down. It will save recorded files
after 3 seconds but the batteries need to be charged immediately
2: If booting without a memory card, the yellow and blue lights flash for 5 seconds before automatically
shutting down.
3: If nothing is done after the booting warning, the recorder will automatically shut down in 1 minute.
Use the USB cable for the following:
1: Charging and transferring data by plugging the recorder into a computer.
2: Display recorded video through a TV.
3: Charging with the use of a DV 5 V charger while recording.
720P video not working:
Reboot by turning the recorder off and then on. The blue lights will flash 3 to indicate it is recording video
in 720p. The camera will then record video for 5 minutes. Stop the recording by pressing the power button
and wait for the blue light to indicate that the camera is in standby mode.

1080P video not working:


Press the power key for 3 seconds. The yellow lights will blink to indicate that the camera is recording
video in 1080p. It will continue to record for about 5 minutes and automatically save the video. Press the
power button again and wait for the blue light to indicate that the camera is in standby mode.

How to take photos:


While the camera is on standby mode 1, press the F key and wait for the yellow lights to change to blue.
Your photographs will then be taken at 12 million pixels (4032 x3024) and automatically saved.

Formatting a memory card:


While the camera is on standby mode, press the F key for about 3 seconds. The blue and yellow lights will
flash to indicate that the memory card inserted in the camera is being formatted.

Hard reset:
If the machine crashes, buttons, reset the R button once and it can be normally used again.

Recording while charging:


Insert the USB cord to recharge the batteries. Recorded video in 720p cannot be manually stopped. The
camera can save files in the memory card with or without enough power.

TV OUT mode:
Connect the camera to the TV using the USB cord. The videos and images will be shown on the TV
screen. You can then select the file that you want to view.

Shutdown:
If the camera is not in use, it will automatically shut down after 1 minute of being idle.

Setting the time and date:


Plug the camera into your computer and create a new text document wherein you set the time and date in
the following format: (Y, M, D, H, M, S) 20161008182558 Y. Save the text file with the following filename:
TIMERSET.
Unplug the USB cable then restart the camera
A built-in watermark will then indicate the times and dates when the photos and videos were taken. If you
don't need the time watermark while operating the camera, change the Y to N. Your time and date in the
text file should look like the following:

Note:
A. Before using, always make sure that a micro SD card is inserted. The absence of the standby lights
mean that the camera cannot be used.

B. In a low lighting conditions, make sure the subject is within 50cm. The camera will automatically adjust
its color, clarity and stability of the images.

Connect the computer:


The camera can also be used as a memory stick if needed. Simply plug it into your computer while in
standby or turned off mode. It will then show up as It will prompt in the screen the used as a U disk and
files can now be copied or pasted to and from the computer and vice versa.

The blue light on the camera means that it can be used as a U disk. The yellow light means the camera is
charging and that the battery is fully charged.

Reminder:
A. If the computer can’t read the files or if nothing is showing after connecting it to the computer, reset the
camera and plug again.

B. You can also record video and take pictures even when there’s no memory card by plugging the
camera to your computer. You can then stream your recording or photos.

Note:
Charging the battery will take about 2-3 hours. Keep out of direct sunlight and harsh environments.

Please take note that the camera is not waterproof and should not be stored or used in damp
environments.

When shooting photos or videos, please make sure you have adequate light.
