    Roles in Steel structures & piping:

     Documentation work for the fabrication and erection of piping and steel structures.
     Review P&ID,GA drawings & isometric drawings related to the project.
     Piping of spool fabrication according to erection requirements, stage wise inspection at different
    stages (i.e,setup,weld visual),strength testing of spools(i.e, APT,HPT) pickling(i.e, acidic
    treatment),GI etc.
     Coordination with Engineering Department and the supervisor to resolve any discrepancy in the
    drawings & production.
     Pressure test, Hydro test of all piping systems according to system requirements.
     Daily inspections as per ITP & inspection of materials correlated with test certificate.
     Welding inspection of pipe spools (c.s,s.s)
     Possess competent knowledge of codes like ASME SEC IX, SEC V, B 31.3, B31.1, Hydrotest &
    Pneumatic test.
     Preparing of welding performance qualification record with the results of Non- destructive tests,
    maintaining the welder qualification records and the certificate for qualified welders.
     Inspection of Piping Material,Fitup & Weld Visual, Welder Qualification.
     Inspection of all Butt Welds Pipes and Lot wise NDE selection & PWHT monitoring.
     Familiar with the NDT techniques like PT, MPT, RT and UT.
     Responsible for maintaining IBR documents of all the works carried out on the project.
     Preparation for QA/QC Audit conducted monthly by Reliance Industries.
     Conducting Performance Review, down time analysis, safety meetings and training.

    ERECTION & COMMISSIONING:

     Reviewing Steel Erection drawings.


     Checking civil foundations elevation before steel (columns / frames Erection).
     Supervising ground assembly for main columns with beams to compose frames can be liftedand
    erected one time.
     Supervising erection of main steel girders and bracings between frames (with considerationof
    erection sequence).
     Supervising alignment and bolt tightening for main members of the structure on the mainAligns
    and Axis before offering for inspection.
     Supervising erection of Dressing (erection of small beams, bracings, angles, C-Channels
    andother medium & light steel items).
     Supervising balance bolt tightening and offering for final inspection.
     Supervising Erection steel handrails and gratings.
     Through all previous steel erection steps, solution for many technical problems in erectiondue to
    material defects or wrong design to be set by my or client proposals through RFIs.
