A. Marketing

Marketing is profitably using the results of studying short term and long term needs of those

who can pay for a one-time, or in most cases, a steady flow of service or product placement. For

my own words marketing is finding potential clients who can you market you're product to the

people who takes interest with. Also Event marketing is the experiential marketing of a brand,

service, or product through memorable experiences or promotional events. It typically involves

direct interaction with a brand's representatives.

B. Sponsor

Sponsorship is an increasingly popular marketing technique used by most businesses to gain a

competitive advantage in the marketplace. Sponsorship refers to the financial or in-kind support

of an event, a sports team, a charity organization, etc, with the objective of attaining certain

particular business objectives. Also Event Sponsorship is an event sponsor is a company that

supports an event, usually by providing funds, in exchange for something valuable.

C. Branding

Branding, by definition, is a marketing practice in which a company creates a name, symbol or

design that is easily identifiable as belonging to the company. There are many areas that are

used to develop a brand including advertising, customer service, promotional merchandise,

reputation, and logo.


Explain the Significance of Marketing, Sponsorship and branding.

Sponsorships help your business increase its credibility, improve its public image, and build

prestige. Like any form of marketing, it should be used strategically as a way to reach your

target customers. As you build your marketing plan, research the events and causes that your

ideal customers care about. Also Branding is in developing a strategic marketing plan, your

brand serves as a guide to understanding the purpose of your key business objectives and

enables you to align the plan with those objectives. Branding is important because not only is it

what makes a memorable impression on consumers but it allows your customers and clients to

know what to expect from your company.

It is a way of distinguishing yourself from the competitors and clarifying what it is you offer that

makes you the better choice. Events are not only an opportunity to network and sell your

services, but also a chance to give your brand more exposure.

People are becoming more and more aware of advertising and finding new, effective ways of

marketing your brand is essential to ensuring you get noticed. Good branding ensures that,

whatever the size of your business, your audience will remember you and talk about you. Your

brand is your company and it is important to take an event as an opportunity to let it shine.
