All bolts, nuts, washers and fittings are compliant with the relevant Australian
Standards. Please note fittings/fasteners are not generally shown on drawings but
are listed in parts lists. Contact Sandvik if you are unsure which the required item is.
KIT CONTENTS
Please ensure that your kit contains the items listed, in the quantities below before
you start the installation.
1) Connect the Pressure Switch to the ‘LS SIGNAL’ line of the Rod handler. Refer to
hydraulic circuit, Appendix B.
2) Connect the Pressure Switch Harness to the Pressure Switch.
3) Via the harness, connect the Pressure Switch to the Enclosure’s corresponding 4-pin plug
(see Appendix A).
4) Fit the beeper to the rig. Ideal location is pointing towards the area where the rod handler
is used. Testing may be required to choose the best location.
5) Connect the Beeper Harness to the Beeper.
6) Via the harness, connect the Beeper to the Enclosure’s corresponding 4-pin plug (see
Appendix A).
7) Ensure that all power is off. Connect the Power Loom harness to the 24V power source.
Pin A corresponds to the positive outlet, while Pin B corresponds to the negative outlet.
8) Via the harness, connect the power source to the Enclosure’s corresponding 3-pin plug
(see Appendix A).

switch dials.
NOTE:
On the pressure switch, the “set” dial allocates the pressure at which the switch activates. The “reset”
dial allocates the pressure at which the switch deactivates.
1) Set dip switch “1” on the timer to ON, to give a timed output at turn on (see Figure 5).
2) Set dip switch “2” on the timer to OFF to give an output range from 1 to 60 seconds.
3) Turn the timer trim pot fully anticlockwise, then turn clockwise approximately one thirtieth
of its full travel.
4) Test operation, and adjust trim pot to achieve desired time.
