    EMERGENCY RESPONSE
    With a fleet of over 100 vehicles and 80 mo-
    torcycles, our double cabin patrol vehicles are
    equipped with emergency fire extinguisher,
    two-way radio Communication & a first aid kit.

    Each emergency vehicle is manned by a four-


    man crew fully trained in response duties. The
    backup response vehicles’ crews continually
    undergo training that enable them perform
    any emergency duties. AThe crew is always in
    constant communication with the Kenya Po-
    lice for reinforcement especially at night.

    Control Room Radio Communication
    Our control room is equipped with the latest ra-
    dio communication equipment and state of the
    art facilities. Four long range VHF and HF radio
    channels are used in the day to day operations
    together with nine telephone lines which are op-
    erational at all times. Response vehicles are fit-
    ted with VHF and HF radios monitored from Con-
    trol Room to ensure effective communication at
    all times.

    Back up vehicle Communication


    All our backup response vehicles are fitted with
    long range VHF radios for effective communica-
    tion with the control room. In addition, portable
    radio handsets are available especially where
    the crews have to walk some distance from the
    response vehicle in which the radio is fixed.
    Our motorcycle backup response teams which
    mainly operate in towns as herald support team
    in case of heavy traffic are equipped with radio
    handsets for ease of communication.
