FEA analysis of top cone roof due to agitator loads (both static & dynamic loads) is in tank fabricator's scope. FEA shall be
performed in latest version of Ansys software. If roof thickness changes, Vendor to inform customer accordingly. For reactor ,
head shall be check for agitator dynamic loads through WRC analysis.
Agitator vendor shall provide QAP for approval before submitting agitator drawing.
Tank Vendor to provide independent support structure for mounting agitator for PP-FRP Tanks . Since agitator load cannot be
directly transferred to top head of PP-FRP tank. (This point applicable to PP-FRP tanks only)
Load trial running shall be performed (as mentioned in datasheet) both at vessel fabricator shop & at client site. Agitator vend
scope shall be supervision of agitator assembly & load trail running both at vessel fabricator’s shop & at client site. In case of a
failure , agitator vendor shall be responsible & shall rectify the same.
Vessel/tank fabricator shall perform load trial running of agitator for 2 hours under operating pressure with full working volum
under full vacuum condition , shall be done by the vessel/tank vendor, under the supervision of agitator vendor who will visit a
shop.
Manpower, all lifting tools & tackles, lubricants , power supply & other mechanical & electrical accessories etc. required for ag
assembly & load trial running , shall be provided by the vessel fabricator at shop.
Mechanical seal fitting shall be done by the agitator vendor both at vessel fabricator’s shop & at client site.
