Full Stack Developer (Vue.JS focus) - £35k - £45k + Remote

- Focus on the Vue.JS side of a full refactor of the entire codebase (with some backend).

- Work alongside back-end focused developers (Laravel) on an exciting roadmap.

Immediate projects:

With full flexibility on how you approach the build, you will work alongside the Lead Developer to visualise, architect and create a highly scalable
and bespoke v 2.0 of their SaaS offering - moving away from reliance upon 3rd party platforms and/or CMS’s..

Your earliest weeks/months will be spent immersing yourself in the codebase/product which is already used by over 1000 clients worldwide and is
thoroughly documented. The core codebase also benefits from full version control and CI (Git).

Existing stack & technologies:

Their platform (which the team are starting to refactor in Laravel - with a need for a new Developer to begin the Vue.JS side of things) currently
utilises PHP/JS code alongside GravityForms/ACF, outputting a client-branded end-product via WordPress (which the team are keen to move away
from) - with custom security measures, penetration testing and overhauls.

The roadmap:

As above, the company is beginning to move away from reliance upon 3rd party platforms and CMS’s. There will continue to be significant and
further integrations with the likes of Xero and Quickbooks - working towards an eventual company exit strategy over the coming years and the
eventual release of a GoProposal open API.

It’s very rare that we come across a company that is so well-organised whilst growing their in-house team. Our normal experience is one of
fire-fighting and chaos (!) which is most certainly not the case here. When you add all of this to the sheer scope and opportunity to progress as
an Engineer, this role is hard to beat.

James, the founder, is an incredibly down to earth and open-minded CEO with a background in Product - allowing him to easily handle technical
discussions and assist with conceptual/architectural thinking. The team are an equally wonderful group of people with their office both well
situated and modern. Some people work from the office and other days work from home - with a huge focus on flexibility.

Position overview.

The Full Stack Developer will collaborate within the development team of GoProposal, ensuring that we continue to provide a highly innovative and
impactful product to our customers, with an intuitive UI alongside an incredibly secure and fast performing backend. There is now a requirement
within the team for a Front End leaning Full Stack Developer to focus on the visualisation and creation of a scalable Vue.JS front end. Naturally, you
will still be involved, from time to time, with the Laravel/PHP side of things, but your primary focus is likely to be on the Front End for a large portion
of the time.

Key responsibilities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed developer who wants to progress and help to grow the business. We want to work with
like-minded people who set high standards for themselves and are passionate about the work that they produce.

Please see below some of your key responsibilities, and the ideal knowledge/previous experience we’re hoping to find. Naturally, don’t worry if you
can’t tick every one of these boxes! It’s far more important for us to find a talented Engineer with the mind of a Computer Scientist than it is to worry
about one specific stack or language.

- Experience building web applications in popular front end and back end technologies (Vue/Laravel would be ideal).
- Experience within OO Programming (PHP would be great)
- Experience of working with MySQL
- Experience of working with HTML 5, CSS, JS.
- Experience of working with version control (Git).
- Experience of working with 3rd party APIs.

Any additional experience of creating innovative PWAs/apps would be of great interest.
