1. I live in a big city, so we have a lot of subways and buses. People also drive their cars, but the
traffic moves slowly because the streets are so crowded.
2. I live in a small town, and we don’t have any public transportation. People usually drive their
own cars. We have a train station but that’s for long-distance travel.
3. In my city, people usually take the bus or use their cars. Also , a lot of people ride bicycles. We
have special bicycle lanes on some of the bigger streets.
4. We have a lot transportation options in my city. We have subways, and buses and taxis. If you
live and work downtown, you can walk everywhere you need to go. Our downtown sidewalks
are always busy.
5. YOU: The traffic jams in my city is probably one of the most notorious among other cities
globally. The transportation here is not regulated enough. You can see a plethora of motorcycles
and cars in big and small roads. However, I can rarely see bicycles or people walking on the
sidewalks because the pollution is pretty thick.
Question 3: Are there any problems with your transportation to school or work?
1. My biggest problem is that I have to spend a lot of money to put gasoline in my car. Also, it
takes a long time to get to a school from my house. But the only solution to those problems
would be to find an apartment closer to my school.
2. I don’t really have any problems with taking the subway. It’s very fast. The only thing is that the
subway fare is high, and it costs more during rush hour.
3. I don’t have any problems with walking. to school. I really enjoy it. It takes a long time, but I
don’t mind. For me, it’s relaxing.
4. The biggest problems with transportation in my city is the traffic jams. It takes a long time to get
anywhere because of that. It doesn’t matter if you take the bus or drive a car. Traffic is always a
problem.
5. YOU: Usually, to get to school, I take the smaller route which is more often congested than not.
So, being late just for a few minutes can make so much difference and can delay my ETA for as
much as half an hour. Every day, I have to wake up early and on time.
