Learning Task 2: Development

Children’s wear requires specific measurements to achieve the design identified by the customers.

There is no probably no sewing activity so immediately satisfying as sewing for children. You get quick
results for one thing, because the garments have smaller dimensions. Also, more shortcuts can be taken in
techniques. Children’s garments should be constructed to survive vigorously activity and endless washings.
Other special considerations include providing room for sudden growth spurts, and planning garment that
are easy to put on.
