Everything that is present in the surroundings of a living organism is called its environment.

The components of natural environment are- a- Lithosphere (Land) b- Hydrosphere (Water)
c- Atmosphere (Air) d- Biosphere ( Living Organisms)

3.Define ecosystem.
Ecosystem is the system formed by the interaction of all living organisms with each other
along with the chemical and physical factors of the environment in which they live, all linked
by the transfer of energy and material.

4.on which day environment day is celebrated?


Environment day is celebrated on 5th June.

5.Explain human environment in your own words.


Human environment refers to the environment of human beings. Human being are the
organisms that modify the environment according to their need to live a settled life. They
build houses to live in and industries to work in. For example- Family, Political Situation,
Education, Commities etc.

6.Which are two components of the biotic environment?


The two components of the biotic environment are plants and animals. Plants and animals are
interdependent on each other. Plants are producers and animals are the consumers. Plants
release oxygen which is inhaled by the animals and the animals release carbon dioxide

7.Explain components of environment with example?


a- Human Made- Parks, Industries, Bridges are made by the humans to modify the
environment. B- Human- Family, Education are parts of the the human beings. Natural-
Land Air Water are parts of the nature
