Why did you decide to become a tourist guide?
My name is Erlenzi Quintero. I am the proud tourist guide of Villa de Leyva, Colombia. At
work I am a Spanish teacher from American children. I can honestly say I love my job.
Both of my jobs are linked with education and learning and they bring me lot of memorable
experiences. However, most of my knowledge about pleasure time has become from my
adventures as a tourist guide, so that is perfect to complement my life.
Currently, I feel very blessed because I am living in a place where I can connect my
teaching learning getting in an office with my experiences outdoors, which allow me to
know people, places and more than that being host and offering my service to people, that
is the best time for me. I consider myself very lucky doing what I dreamed to do, It really
convicted me to encourage people enjoying as much as they can those activities like
exploring our culture, legacy, traditions and so on.

want to promote the sustainable tourism in every trip, for that reason we have stablished a
maximum group size of only 8, plus leader. That guaranty us the travelers are going to have not
only a grater interaction with local people but also, we will reduce the environment impact.

Recommendations:
