    2020 – 2021: Organizer of The Non Fiction Reading Program (Fall 2020)
    Since I wanted my Prekindergarten students and their parents to be involved in reading, I brought the idea to my
    school principal. Then, that idea grew. All James Williams Elementary participated in the Non Fiction Reading
    Program. Students, parents and teachers were so excited about it!
    2019 – 2020: Organizer of The Lion Lane Reading Program
    Previous school year (2018-2019) my class had 100% of parents involved in reading with their children. I
    presented the idea of getting parents involved in reading for the whole school to my campus principal. She agreed
    and allowed me to do it. It was a success!
    2018 – 2019: The Lion Lane Best and Spiciest Chili
    My class had to find out a good recipe, write it and have it ready on display to share it with other classes during
    the competition. All my students got motivated to participate in the competition! We cooked in the classroom and
    had the best and spiciest chili! We won the competition! Teamwork WORKS!
