ACTIVITIES PRE-LESSON 1. Teacher elicits from the students the names of the four
Super Friends.
2. Teacher asks students to mime their special powers.
3. Teacher elicits what happened in the last episode ( they
got lost) and who helped them (the rabbit).
LESSON DELIVERY Activity 1 (SB page 74-75)
1. Teacher elicits where the Super Friends are( in the garden
of a big, old house).
2. Teacher plays the recording. Students listen and read to
find out who goes in (misty) and the animals she sees( a
cat, spiders and rats)
3. Students compare their ideas in pairs before the class
check.
4. Teacher plays the recording again. Teacher pauses after
each frame to check comprehension.
5. Teacher talks with the class about the value (looking after
your friends) and who does it in the story (Misty in frame
2). Teacher elicits what she says.
POST LESSON 1. Teacher puts students in groups of four.
2. Students each take a role of one of the characters.
