PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A modified 2-component epoxy tar for improved intercoat adhesion and water resistance. Intertuf 674 is used as a tiecoat
between anti-corrosives and antifoulings.
* Winter workable, fast drying and curing.
* Can be used down to -5°C.
* Suitable for use on Newbuilding or Maintenance & Repair projects.

Note:Micron 33 in North America is equivalent to Superyacht 800 antifouling, and Micron 44c in North America is equivalent to
Superyacht 900 antifouling
Method Stir or shake individual components thoroughly. The primer surface should be clean and dry
and free of all contamination (oil, grease, salt etc).
Hints Mixing A power agitator should be used to mix both the individual components and the mixed
paint. Wait a minimum of 15 mins for the air bubbles to disperse.
Thinner If thinning is required, use GTA220.
Thinning Thinning is not necessary in most situations.
Cleaner Use GTA822 for equipment cleaning.
Airless Spray Pressure: 210 bar. Tip Size: 2180-2680.
Brush Brush or roller application may be suitable for small areas but multiple coats may be
needed to achieve specified DFT.
Some Important Points Ambient temperature should be minimum -5°C and maximum 35°C. Substrate temperature
should be minimum 5°C/40°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Product temperature should be
minimum -5°C and maximum 35°C. Will not cure below -5°C. Avoid prolonged exposure to light
which will cause chalking. Do not use unless mixed thoroughly with the curing agent at specified
ratio.
Compatibility/Substrates Suitable for use with cathodic protection. Exhibits bituminous bleed when overcoated with light
coloured antifoulings.

DISPOSAL: Do not discard tins or pour paint into water courses, use the facilities provided. It is best
to allow paints to harden before disposal.
Remainders of Intertuf 674 cannot be disposed of through the municipal waste route or dumped
without permit. Disposal of remainders must be arranged for in consultation with the authorities.
