    Air intake system

    Overview
    The air intake system is composed of the air filter and intercooler.
    ★ Attention
    1.Ingress of any metal particles into the inlet passage will possibly damage the engine.
    2.When the parts of air intake system are removed or installed, the openings of the removed parts and engine should
    be sealed up with a piece of silk cotton cloth, adhesive tape or other appropriate materials.
    3.When installing the parts of air intake system, check and insure that no metal particles ingress into the engine or
    installed parts.

    Air filter
    The air filter is composed of the intake manifold assembly, air filter assembly, connecting hose of air flow sensor, air
    flow sensor component and intake manifold assemble of supercharger. Its function is to provide the engine with
    plenty of dry and clean air in case of minimal air inlet temperature rise.

    Replacement of filter element
    Replace once the air filter element per 10000km. In harsh
    conditions, you can make the replacement as the case may be
    it.

    The air filter element should be frequently cleaned. Blow in


    front the air filter element with the pressurized airflow,
    removing the dust, ensuring the air inlet flow, reducing the
    intake resistance and decreasing the fuel consumption.
    Removal
    1. Unscrew the A-worm drive hose hoops connecting the
    Air filter upper housing Air filter hose
    supercharger and air flow sensor component, and remove the
    intake manifold assembly of supercharger.
    2.Unscrew the A-worm drive hose hoop connecting the air
    filter upper housing and air flow sensor connecting hose
    and then remove the connecting hose of air flow sensor and
    A-worm drive hose hoop the air flow meter component.

    A-worm drive hose hoop 3. Open the hoop and remove the air filter upper housing,
    and then take out the air filter element for replacement.

    4. Remove 2 fixed bolts of the air filter lower housing, and

    remove the intake manifold assembly of air filter and the A-
    worm drive hose hoop connecting the Air filter lower
    housing.

    Installation
    The installation follows the inverse removal process.

    Intercooler
    The intercooler part is composed of the intercooler assembly, connecting hose of intercooler air inlet and outlet
    connecting hose of intercooler. Its function is to decrease the air inlet temperature of engine.

    Removal
    1. Unscrew the A-worm drive hose hoop connecting the
    supercharger and Intercooler assembly, and remove the air
    inlet connecting hose of Intercooler.
    As shown in the left picture.

    2. Unscrew the A-worm drive hose hoop connecting the


    throttle valve and intercooler assembly and remove the outlet
    connecting hose of intercooler.
    As shown in the left picture.

    3. Remove 2 fixed bolts and 2 fixed nuts of intercooler


    assembly and remove the intercooler assembly.
    As shown in the left picture.

    Installation
    The installation follows the inverse removal process.
