Vietnam is acknowledged as an active emerging market in Asia Pacific with significant growth in foreign
investment and international trade. Our country is also an attractive destination for tourists with our 1,000
years of history , our people’s hospitality and low cost of living compared to other countries. Gradually in
a few recent years, our youth are having more and more international exposure, and AIESEC in Vietnam
is proud to take a part in making that positive change, and with our growth, we will make a bigger impact
in the youth community.
Being recognized as one of the fastest growing official expansion entities in AIESEC network,
AIESEC in Vietnam has been present for 3 years old with 215 dynamic, proactive members. We
have organized 3 National Conferences and 1 international conference (APMCTC 2009). With the
success of hosting APMCTC 2009, we have equipped ourselves great experience to host
international conferences and show our contribution to the network. Our Exchange result has
increased by more than 200% growth and our finance is currently independent from AIESEC in
Japan. Being supported greatly by high-profile partners such as Unilever, Sacombank Group, Ford
Vietnam, ACDL, etc, we have managed to build up our internal and financial capacity, and will surely
grow more to contribute to great success of Asia Pacific Exchange and Leadership Development
Seminar.
We do believe that hosting APXLDS in Vietnam will bring huge impact for AIESEC in Vietnam and for
AIESEC global in general. This is a precious chance for our members to have more interaction with other
AIESEC countries, for everybody to build their network and strenghen their passion in AIESEC. For the
first time, AIESEC in Vietnam has raised our voice, taken responsibility to show our contribution for the
whole network. We are delighted to deliver to our AIESEC friends a chance to discover and enjoy the
beauty our culture and our country. We believe that Vietnam is the best location for APXLDS 2011 .
With our motivation for bidding this conference. We would like to ask our friends consider Vietnam as the
location for hosting APXLDS 2011. For other inquiries regarding the application, please contact us via
