COMMON PLACEMENT PROGRAMME 2010 – 2011

2011 PASSING OUT STUDENTS

Centre for University Industry Collaboration of Anna University of Technology Coimbatore is
organizing a common placement programme for the present final year (2011 passing out) students,
studying in affiliated, autonomous institutions and University Departments of Anna University of
Technology Coimbatore.

M/s. Tata Consultancy Services has agreed to conduct a common placement programme on
17.03.2011. Centre for University Industry Collaboration, Anna University of Technology Coimbatore is
organizing this common placement programme at Kathir College of Engineering, Neelambur, Avinashi
road, Coimbatore-641062.

The final year students of B.E (CSE)/B.Tech(IT) with an overall CGPA of 8.75 and above from
th
first semester to pre-final semester and with an average of 60% and above marks consistently from 10
standard onwards are only eligible to participate. Further details related to registration and eligibility
criteria are enclosed in the annexure VI. It is requested that the principal / placement officer of the college
should verify the marks of the students and certify their eligibility to attend the common placement
programme.

List of eligible colleges to be participated in common placement programme on 17.03.2011 is

enclosed in Annexure V. The colleges are requested to send their students along with their Placement
officers. The colleges should submit the eligible students list to the CUIC, Anna University of Technology
Coimbatore on or before 15.03.2011.

All the eligible candidates have to pay Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) towards
registration fee for the common placement programme each in the form of a Demand Draft in favor of
“The Director, CUIC, Anna University of Technology Coimbatore” payable at Coimbatore.

The Placement officers / Faculty In charge of the college should submit the Annexure - I,II & III
along with the Demand Draft to the CUIC representatives camped at Kathir College of Engineering,
Neelambur, Avinashi road, Coimbatore-641062 on 17.03.2011 at 7:30 a.m.

Terms and Conditions

1. The students who have already recruited by any organization through campus recruitment are not
eligible to attend the campus interview.
2. As per the notification of the visiting organization, the candidates who have already appeared for
On-Campus Recruitment of that particular organization are not eligible to reappear again.
3. All eligible students taking part in common placement programme have to register by paying
registration fee in the form of Demand draft in favour of “The Director, CUIC, Anna University of
Technology Coimbatore” payable at Coimbatore. The students are instructed to write their Name,
University Register number and College name at the back side of the Demand Draft. In case of
Common Demand Draft, students details should be enclosed.
4. The students should furnish the photograph duly attested by the Principal of their college
(Annexure I).
5. The students should also furnish the letter from the placement officer (Annexure II).
6. The students should also bring the admit card (Annexure III) at the time of registration.
7. Colleges should compulsorily sent their Placement Officers / Faculty Incharge along with their
students for registration. Only the placement officers of the college should submit the Annexure I,
II, III along with Demand draft and two copies of the eligible students list to the representatives of
CUIC.
8. Candidates should bring the attested Xerox copies of SSLC, HSLC, Diploma and Degree
semester mark sheets for verification.
9. Candidates should compulsorily bring their ID card and 2 passport size photos.
10. Candidates should make their own arrangements for attending the common placement
programme.
11. Those candidates selected through Common Placement Programme by a company should not
attend the subsequent tests/ Interviews to be conducted by other companies.
12. Any irregularities / Malpractices / in any form of recommendations will be treated, as
disqualification and Anna University of Technology Coimbatore will take serious action against
those candidates.
13. The decision of the Director, CUIC will be final in all matters.

would appear for TCS Campus recruitment process without a proper DT reference id.

eligible to apply
