    In line with the implementation of Republic Act No. 10533, or the Enhanced Basic Education
    Act of 2013, the Department of Education issued the policy on Learning Action Cell (LAC) as Basic
    Education Program for Professional Development Strategy for the improvement of teaching and
    learning. Through this policy the Department of Education supports the continuity improvement of
    the teacher’s profession. This can be done through school-based activity by doing Learning Action Cell
    (LAC) which can help teachers and learners progress.
    Bukidnon National High School maximizes the use of Learning Action Cell to highlight the
    intervention of the unique individual of the learners. On March 5, 2021, SHS Mathematics/MIL Subject
    Group conducted LAC with the theme of “From Fear to High Gear: Leading through Transition” it
    focuses in making video lessons that can apply today for the new normal situation between learners
    and teachers to make sure that there will be transparency in transiting the lessons to the students.
    Overall the teachers participated well in the session and share their insights in the process.
