This is a short instruction for installing the Discogs Tagger AddOn and
for authorize with Discogs
1. Start Mediamonkey.
2. Download the Discogs Tagger add-on:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/download/576/
3. When the download is finished, double-click on the file. You will see the following message:
Use the „Install Now“ button to start the installation.
4. The installation is finished.
5. After selecting all files of an album for tagging right-click on them and choose „Auto-Tag from Web..“
6. In the upper right corner choose under Options „Discogs Tagger“
Hint: There are maybe 2 Discogs Tagger links. If you get an error, choose the other Discogs Tagger. I work on a solution.
7. You now see the following information window:
You need a discogs account, if you don‘t have one.
8. If you don’t have an account at Discogs yet, press the first link in the window and create one. It’s free. If you have an account at Discogs, jump to step 11. 9. Now you see the following window
In this new window open the link Create an account now
10.After creating the account close the Webbrowser window.
11. Now use the second link in the information window. With this link you authorize the Discogs Tagger to fetch album information.
12.You will see the following webpage:
Maybe in another language. ;-) Press the green button for authorize the add-on. 13.Now you should see the following text. Close this Internet Explorer window.
14.Now press the ‘Ok’ Button
15.If you see the following message, you survived the authorize torture. ;-)
