    Series of 2020

    Reactivating the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT)

    Whereas, DILG Secretary Eduardo Ano on Sunday, February 02, 2020 ordered local Chief Executive
    to reactivate the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team(BHERT) to address the crisis which
    was brought about by novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (2019 nCoV ARD) outbreak.

    Whereas, the BHERT member would be composed of Punong Barangay as Chairperson, Kagawad
    Committee chair on Health and Sanitation, Barangay Tanods, Barangay Health Workers.

    Whereas, the BHERT members would be the equipped with protected gear such as surgical gowns,
    goggles, masks, and gloves.

    Whereas, BHERTs would be tasked to visit the homes of arriving passengers who came from the
    countries affected by the outbreak and list down the names of the person that the traveler had
    come in contact with. The BHERTs also require these newly-arrived travelers to record their daily
    body temperatures in morning and afternoon during their 14-day home quarantine.

    Whereas, if the BHERT observes any 2019-nCoV ARD symptoms within their communities, they
    must isolate the concerned individuals and provide them with mask before they are brought to
    designated referral center or hospital.

    Resolved as it hereby resolved, to reactivate the BHERTs in our barangay as our effort to be one
    step ahead of the virus

    NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Barangay of Cogon, City of Naga, Cebu to approve as it is
    hereby approve the creation of Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) that consists
    of the following:
