    Introduction
    The Laureth ingredients are produced by reacting ethylene oxide with lauryl alcohol.
    The numerical designation refers to the average number of repeating ethylene oxide units
    in the molecule. As the numerical value of Laureths increases, the viscosity of the
    ingredient increases until they become white,waxy solids.

    Storage and transportation


    In the original sealed containers at temperatures below + 30°C, the product can be
    stored for at least two years.
    After prolonged storage at temperatures of about + 15°C, slight turbidity may occur,
    which after conditioning to approx. 25°C disappear with agitation. This turbidity does not
    influence the thickening behaviour. However, the product quality is not negatively
    influenced above a pH value of 4.0.
