Lesson 9 Practice:

There are many things that teens struggle with, ranging from depression/anxiety

to texting and driving to online bullying. I’ve seen that teenagers struggle with online

bullying when getting on apps such as instagram, snapchat, twitter, and tiktok. Some

precautions that teenagers can take are not giving away too much information online to

random people they just met. I’ve seen many people face reveal and get made fun of for

that. One of the easiest methods you can use to get rid of a bully online is to just block

all contact with them and ignore them forever, another thing that is guaranteed to work

is just turning off your phone. Another example of things that teenagers struggle with is

texting and driving and it’s fairly simple to prevent that bad habit. It can cause many

harms to not yourself but to many other people. All you have to do is just stop using

your phone while driving and put it somewhere you cannot reach it. I’ve also witnessed

many teens these days getting depression and anxiety. It can be caused by anything for

example relationships, and problems at home. Something you can do to prevent it is

getting professional help from a therapist or trying new things and attempting to forget

about the feeling. You can also make sure to eat well and to make sure that you stay in

shape and exercise. The last and final thing that the majority of teenagers struggle with

is stress. Not only do teenagers get stressed, but a lot of adults struggle with this

problem as well. Stress can come from pressure from school work and grades or from

sports or from relationships. A way not only teenagers can prevent stress is by

balancing school work and work with things that you love to do. You can also make sure

that you get the proper amount of food to eat and a good 8 hours of daily sleep.
