    "Vigyan Sabha" is a national level conference
    being conducted by the IIChE- GVP Student
    Chapter of Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of
    Engineering on 10th & 11th of JULY 2021, the
    event itself aims to challenge students to offer
    creative solutions to a plethora of problems in the
    area of chemical engineering, some of which may
    surprise you. The theme for this event has
    multiple topics within its framework which the
    students are free to choose.

    About GVP College of Engineering:

    Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (A)


    [GVPCE(A)] was established in 1996 by Gayatri Vidya
    Parishad, a premier educational trust, to promote
    technical education.The GVPCE(A) offers 10 B.Tech., 9 M.
    Tech programs and MCA with an annual intake of around
    1400. The college is reaccredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade
    with a CGPA of 3.47/4.00. The institution had the privilege
    of being funded through TEQIP – II, S.C. 1.2 by MHRD,
    Government of India.
    The college, after having successfully completed its first
    spell of autonomy, the UGC and JNTU-K extended the
    status by another six years that lasts up to the A.Y. 2019-20.
    The college adopted Outcome Based Education
    methodology for all programmes from the A.Y. 2013-14.
    Research and consultancy projects, dedicated faculty, well
    equipped
    laboratories, good infrastructure and meritorious students
    are the major strengths of the Institution.
    About Chemical Department:

    Department of Chemical Engineering was established in


    1996. The Department has highly qualified faculty members
    and experienced from diverse research areas. It has
    completed four projects of worth Rs 40 Lakhs sanctioned by
    AICTE. The Department is accredited by NBA for four times .
    The Department has signed MOU’s with various industries to
    build Industry- Institute interaction. Major equipment like
    AAS, High pressure Reactors, GC etc., are available to
    facilitate research. State of art software's like COMSOL
    Multiphysics CFD, PRO-II, MATLAB, Triangle Simulation
    software are available.
    IIChE-GVPCE(A) Student Chapter:

    The IIChE-GVPCE(A) Student Chapter was formed in the


    Academic Year 2015-16. Till date the IIChE-GVPCE(A)
    Student Chapter hosted 48 events. Since 2015, more than
    250 students have enrolled themselves as IIChE
    Student Members. Its stretched its events beyond on
    campus and hosted off-campus.
