Scope of work for the project
• The overall scope of work for 78 buildings is divided into 4 phases.

Phase 1 will have 20 buildings
Scope of Phase 2 will have 20 buildings
project Phase 3 will have 19 buildings
Phase 4 will have 19 buildings
Phase 1 20 buildings will be completed in 4 phases with each phase having 5 buildings.

Phase 2 will be completed in 4 phases with 5 buildings in each phases.

Phase 3 will be completed in 3 phases with 6 buildings in eash phase.

Phase 4 will be similar to phase 3

• The scope of work for construction is divided in two components.

• Following Is the scope of work and its percentage distribution which will be used for each
phase and buildings in that phases.
• Up to plinth level only 5% of the project will be completed.
• Further the superstructure will carry 95% of the project weightage.
• Since that following project is an Air force base for Mauritian government available FSI will
be less for such buildings.
• Assuming a FSI which can only construct up to 4 floors due to restrictions of funnel zone
following is the scope of work for a building and this will be followed throughout the project.

Scope creep

following strategies.
✓ Document the requirement
1. The initial demand of all the stakeholders must be addressed by civil bodies
to manage conflicts.
2. Whenever there is a conflict between the stakeholders an arbitrator must be
hired to solve the conflict and arrive at a certain situation.
3. All the requirements of the stakeholders must be documented and should be
shared online for everyone to view it.
4. Though it is a time-consuming process, but the company can avoid conflict of
interest which can save lot of money.

1. What the stakeholders want can be managed but what about changes in your
project that must be managed externally.
2. Change management software can be used in such situation.

✓ Create a clear project schedule

2. Project schedule must be prepared it should show all the dates and timeline of
completion for certain activity.
3. All requirements in the form of task & activity must be shown in the Gantt chart.
