I am Aditya Kurniawan, student of Chemical Engineering, Faculty Industrial of Technology. With

this letter I would like to express my strong interest for participating in this international
Volunteering held by Youcan Indonesia. As a future graduate, I plan to build an international
career, build a lot of international networks, and learn how to solving world problems I have
never see, so this program will really mean a lot for my professional aspirations. Capability to
handle problems, social balance and the necessity to gain an international experience outside
my University. Furthermore to make me a proper candidate for this program I should like to
describe my background.
I have good non academic record and achievement, in my bachelor degree I had chosen to be
staff of Student Research Community, Central Language Improvement (CLI) and The Executive
Students Organization. I am also become a redaction section of Invasi journal which held by
Faculty Industrial and Technology Islamic University of Indonesia. Not only in my bachelor
degree time in chemical engineering department Islamic University of Indonesia but also in my
previous high school SMA 2 Kudus. In that interval I became the leader of SMA 2 Kudus’ Youth
Red Cross and make it went through to the second place of the best Youth Red Cross in Kudus
Regency.
I realize organization will making such a great social network to enlarge my potential to make
the world greater. In organization, had increase my leadership skill, such as; managing work,
adaptability, decision making, and initiating action. If I stay I my comfortable zone, I can not
improve this world become greater just by my study field in chemical engineering department.
Now I feel that I have had a fair amount of exposure in this field. This exposure has given me a
solid platform through almost of my study time as student in chemical engineering department.
I feel that I have not satisfied my urge to learn, especially when there is so much still to learn. I
do not perceive a Graduate Degree as an end. I have strong desire to push a head, and I plan to
invest a lot in my education to build my future. To fully utilize my time spent in graduate school,
I now require a program that can provide me with the great international social networks, best
resources, and educational tools available. This program can rightly provide me those . I hope
by joining this program I will be to enhance and increase my ability especially to make this
world changed to a greater world.
Looking back from my organizations background, will help to communicating with other and
easily to give inspire and motivation for Kathmundu’s people. As chief of high school’s youth
red cross and my experience to be a flood volunteer, that prove soul of humanity, helping each
other and strong empathy has been embedded in my soul. With my ability to communicate and
cooperating work will help this program worked easily. With this program, I want to share and
deliver my empathy and my soul of humanity which had stuck because no a organization like
youth red cross in my college. I hope I deserve to this program because my strongest massive
passion to help each other.
I have a massive passion to help each other, i want to prove that all human in this world are
same, we can not life without help each other. and i want to prove that indonesia can do it too.
We have strong empathy to anyone which in the poorness. Indonesia known well as a country
who has many cultures but we can still stand together, as we know it makes indonesia known
as country who has massive soul of humanity. And i want to participate, help indonesia to help
each other. I am confident from my experiences as chief of high school’s youth red cross and
flood volunteer, I can share what had I got like ability to inspiring and motivating each other,
make people laughing so they will forget about their sadness, helping the kids to learning and
studying, helping other to build their home again and etc. I think I can adapt well like I had done
when I participated in flood volunteer. If we all adapt well, we will easily to help them. When I
heard about this program, I feel so sad. Realizing that much brothers and sisters are unlucky
there. My heart said want to participate and help them. As we know Nepal become a poor
country and we as a lucky country must help them.
I have some great ideas for help Nepal. We can build a small and simple school for kids and
children so they will keep studying and learning and we the volunteer as the teachers. We can
make some fun games and give some simple prizes for them so they will forget about their
sadness. My second idea is we will held a free medical check up and some medicine for them.
That will decrease their sickness. My third idea is we can cook nutritious foods together. The
volunteer and the home people in Kathmundu will cooking together which the ingredients are
from us. That will be a lot of fun agenda and they can eat nutritious food for their body needs.
My fourth idea is we can clean their city and plant some trees for the oxygen production, so
they will life comfortable. And that could decrease the illness too. We can help them to give
something useful like blanket, cloth, book, medicine and etc. If I am chosen as one of volunteer
delegates to help Kathmundu Nepal, I will do my best to help them. I will pushing my limit and
go out from my comfortable zone just for help them.
Finally, i will describe about my self. I am hard worker, having a great motivation, discipline,
having leadership character, innovative, able to handle the responsibility, truthfulness,
industriousness, powerful, having indisciplinery knowledge comprehension and able to work
individually or in team.
With those explanations above, I am confident that I am the suitable candidate for this
program. I hope it can be helpful for the admission committee to consider my application. I am
really excited and highly motivated to become a participant of this program.
And I am able to covered the flight fee with the proposal which I will deliver it to my university.
