SAFARI
Coats series in a fine sand texture, lending a wild dune look to walls. For brush
application in one coat, is various shades and/or metallic look on interior walls:
Pearleto – semi-opaque pearl look; Oro – semi-opaque gold look; Natural –
semi-opaque look in desert shades.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND PAINT SYSTEM:

Remove peeling and loose paint and dirt and dust residue off the wall. Apply broken white
Quartz primer or the most similar shade to the chosen Safari shade.
PAINT APPLICATION:
To obtain the wild dune look on a smooth background:
Stir thoroughly before application and occasionally during application.
Dip a brush (3" – 4" wide) in the paint container.
Apply a small quantity of paste on the wall in wide crisscross movements (extending the full
length of your arm). After covering a defined area, continue to 'play' in a free hand with the
paste on the wall, applying it repeatedly, until islands of dune-like texture are created next to
smooth areas (hills and ravines). It is recommended to apply over a diagonal section of about
0.5 sq./m at a time, and ensure complete coverage. It is recommended to step away from the
wall occasionally during the application, to view the entire wall. Is you wish to obtain a higher
paste density, continue to load the brush and apply. Watch out for areas with excessive paste.
If it tends to run, continue to spread the paste.
Use a dry brush to brush lightly in one direction, to obscure brush marks.
To obtain fabric-like texture:
Stir thoroughly before application and occasionally during application.
Dip a brush (3" – 4" wide) in the paint container. Apply crosswise, according to the following
instructions:
 Apply the first coat over the entire width of the wall. Notch the paste across with a
synthetic lawn head. Allow to dry to a hard coat.
Apply the second coat over the entire length of the wall. Notch vertically to the length of the
coat with a synthetic lawn head.
Notes:
You may combine several shades together. To this purpose, allow to dry to a hard coat
between the coats of the different shades.
Do not accelerate drying with a ventilator or a heat blower. To prevent splintering and cracks.
The final shade and look is affected by the direct lighting on the wall and by the reflection of
the room on the wall.
You may apply a second coat after the first coat dries to a hard coat (on the following day).
If you wish to revert to the smooth look in future, sand the wall and apply SUPERCRYL in
the desired shade.
TOOLS CLEANING AND STORAGE:

Clean work tools with soap and water immediately upon completing the application. Pour a
thin layer of water on the remaining product and close the container tightly to prevent air
penetration. Store in a roofed, ventilated place.
CAUTION:
Inedible. The paste is not defined as a hazardous material and does not contain components
requiring special marking or warning. Keep away from children. Provide adequate ventilation

of the work space during application.

GENERAL COMMENTS:
Do not apply the paint when rain is expected and/or when ambient temperature falls below 10
degrees Celsius and relative humidity exceeds 85%. Do not mix this product with products
that are not recommended by us. Achievement of the best desired results is subject to proper
application in strict conformance to our instructions and safety measures. Before application,
the user should verify that the product is indeed designed for the intended usage and that the
surfaces to be painted are properly prepared.

* Practical spreading rate depends on several factors: The surface, the application mode,
color shades, the painter’s skill and weather conditions at the site. Assume approximately
75% of the calculated spreading rate.
