How the Card Travels

ThecardisverifiedandsenttoprintfromthePC.Thehopperpickmechanismpicksacardfrom
theinputhopperandmovesthecardintotheprinterforprocessing.
Optionally,thecardmovestothemagneticstripeencodingareaortothesmartcardparkstation,
dependingonthetypeofcardselectedandtheprinteroptionsinstalled.Thefinishedcardexits
theprinterthroughthecardoutputhopper.

Card Printer System Overview
Youusethecardprinterwithotherequipmentandsoftwaretocreateacardproductionsystem.

Load the Cleaning Sleeve

Loadanewcleaningsleevewhenyouloadanewrollof
printribbon,whenyounoticedebrisontheprinted
cards,orwhenthecleaningsleeveisnolongersticky.
Theprintershipswiththecleaningrollerspindle
installedontheprintribboncartridge.
1. Removethecleaningrollerspindlefromtheribbon
cartridgeandslidethespindleintothecontinuous
cleaningsleeve(a).
2. Placethespindlewiththecleaningsleeveontothe

Prepare the Printer to Print Rewritable Cards

6. Haverewritablecardsavailabletoinsertintotheprinter.
Whenyouprintrewritablecards,insertthecardsoneatatime.Makesurethatthe
cardisengagedinthepickrollers.Theerase/rewriteprocesscancausethecardsto
bendslightly,andcanpreventthemfrombeingpickedfromtheinputhopper.
