Video Script

Hi, I’m Randall, and right behind is a stop sign. It’s actually a four-way
stop, and one of the things that I notice as I often go running is that
people really don’t often pay attention. They’re sometimes eating a
sandwich or drinking something or playing on their cell phone, and it’s
really dangerous. And sometimes I wish, I wish I could just scream or
say something, but probably the best thing is to just pay attention to
what are you’re doing, wear bright clothing so they can see you, so
when they don’t stop, your safe.

Exercise 2 – Writing a Conversation

This driving conversation requires you to write a conversation of your own.
You need to decide who the people will be that will have the
conversation, where it will happen and what it will be about. Use the
driving vocabulary underlined in the conversation. Once you have finished
writing you conversation you should find some friends to read it out loud
with you to practice speaking.10pts

Patrick: Hi Lucy, how are you?

Lucy: Hello Patrick, I’m fine, how about you?

Patrick: I’m doing good, thanks. I was studying for my driving test.

Lucy: Really? That’s nice. Would you like some help?

Patrick: Yes, I’d really appreciate it. Where can we study?

Lucy: We can go to the library; I think that’s a good place.

Patrick: Ok then, let’s go.

Lucy: Ok, what’s the first thing you have to do when you’re going to drive?
