T: Ok! The word in green is an ADJECTIVE. And the word in pink is an

ADVERBS OF MANNER.
PRESENTATION:
At this stage I will continue using the same images and continue sticking the
sentences in order to introduce the new grammar point. I will use the mother
tongue to reinforce the explanation. I will proceed as follows:
T: Look! Let’s analyse this sentence.
T: This word (pointing the green) is an adjective. Remember: an adjective
describes a noun. In this case it describes the word “song”. Now the pink word
is and ADVERB OF MANNER.
T: Pay attention! ADVERBS OF MANNER are used to describe how things are
done.
T: Like we see, describes how Maria sings.
T: So, los adverbios de modo, describen como son realizadas las acciones. Si
volvemos a ver la oración podemos decir que: La canción está fuerte. Maria
canta fuertemente.
T: Now, let’s see the other sentences.
I will do the same with the rest of the adverbs. Then I will make students repeat
after me in chorus.
T: Now, listen and repeat after me.
T: The song is loud. Maria sings loudly. Loudly.
Ss: (expected answer): The song is loud. Maria sings loudly. Loudly.
