Today’s world is full of different prospects, yet it is dependent on how an individual

person takes up the opportunity and brings up the change. I, Prapti Jainik Vyas was
immensely enthralled by the fact that how limitless, the field of medicine is. From basic
creams to lifesaving medications to medical devices, everything revolves around the

formulation. I developed skills in GMP (good manufacturing practices) and regulations
in Quality Assurance on a small scale.

Why do I wish to study in Canada?

Out of multiple choices of the countries available, Canada came out as the most relevant
port of call for my higher studies. It is considered to yield superlative educational
qualities and the cost of the higher education is comparatively lesser than other
countries that provide corresponding level of the same educational course with this it is
very safe and culturally diverse. Being, accepted by a prestigious university like
Northern University is a matter of honor for me which will be a progressive initiation
and I believe, studying in Canada will accentuate my skills in a better way so that I can
commence my career in a fruitful way in my home country.

Why do I wish to study the course I got accepted for?:

Regulatory affairs are an emerging field in the world of pharmaceuticals and also
preeminent for the safety of humans, as all the pharmaceutical products should be able
to meet the regulatory compliance according to the standards for the health of
consumers. Regulatory affairs always intrigued me while studying the basics of the
subject during my bachelors’ degree like, Drug Formulation design, Quality Assurance,
Pharmaceutical Practice, biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics and Regulatory
Science that included basic regulations and understanding quality assurance.
Strengthen regulatory compliance to ensure that reliable and safe products are
available to the public so that we can continue to live healthy through current
innovation and integration in healthcare, technology and business Have to. As a
candidate for graduate studies at the University of Long Island, I am enthusiastic about
enhancing my academic ability and helping people to lead a healthier life by applying
knowledge of bioscience - health care and medicine. My career aspirations have been
influenced by fast development of clinical research organizations in India by virtue of
large patient pool, low cost of doing business, availability of expert researchers, huge
market opportunities and participation of foreign companies in advancement of the
pharmaceutical industry. Considering the need for large number of skilled professionals
for clinical trials as well as quality control in the industry and my interest in clinical
research, I have decided to enroll for the course of regulatory affairs at your esteemed
university. The undergraduate course as well as the courses have provided me with a
strong base for further growth in my desired field. I would like to delve deeper into this
field and its technical aspects completely. I hope to acquire the requisite professional
skills and develop a thorough understanding of conduct of clinical trials and data
analysis as well as various quality control processes employed in the industry. I wish to
contribute towards these areas and indulge in research which ultimately should have a
meaningful contribution to science as well as the pharmaceutical industry. I am
confident that my academic capability and analytical skills coupled with my
perseverance and single-minded devotion will see me through to this goal. To this end,
the first step is a sound graduate study.

I firmly believe that in the emergence of new formulations and new medications there is
a vital need for the regulation of standards of the quality for the health of consumers
and their wellbeing and hence after completing my degree in this field I want to pursue
a career where I can collectively collate all the educational credentials that include
documentation, laws and global regulatory policies and work in a surrounding where
my skills are put into practice for the betterment of the wellbeing of the people.

the request.
What ties do I have towards my country of citizenship/ residence

I am from a nuclear family; my father is an employee in a private firm and my mother is

a homemaker. With this my family is well settled in my home and I am very attached to
my parents, and they have motivated me to study my masters abroad so that I can be
able to make it big in my field. After my higher studies, I intend to come back to India, as
I believe India being a growing sector in the field of medicine and there is an abundant
scope for jobs in regulatory affairs with the increase in new manufacturing of
formulations. With an international degree, from a prestigious university like North-
eastern University, I will be gainfully employed that will be higher in income and my
post. This degree will provide me with a high skilled knowledge through which will be a
competitive advantage for me over other competitors in the position. Being a single
child, I believe that I must take care of my parents after a few years when they retire, so
I would return to my home country to be physically supporting to them at an older age.

I do not have any motive to live in Canada over my study period and intend to return to
my home country to reside with my family, so that I can conquer my future aspirations
with my parents by my side.

How will this programme, enhance my chances in employment opportunities in

my home country:

After my completion of Masters in Regulatory Affairs at NorthEastern University, with

excellent guidance by my professors at the university, I am self- assertive that I will be
able to secure jobs in renowned companies like Cipla, Sun Pharma, Torrent
pharmaceuticals, Cadila Healthcare, Aurobindo Pharma and many more companies
where I will be eligible for the job for the post of Regulatory Specialist, Regulatory
affairs associates and Regulatory Affairs officer. I also intend to begin a start up with my
current projects and make the products available for the consumers and be able to
contribute to the healthcare of my home country as well as around the globe.

With the decision to pursue my masters in Canada, I believe, this will lead to expansions
of my horizon, and I will be able to achieve training and abundant guidance that will
help me seek my dreams on an assertive note.
I am very hopeful to join the program, and I have also attached all the documents that
were required in the SDS checklist, and I request Canadian High Commission to conduct
an optimistic assessment of my request and take my study permit in an affirmative light.
