IMPLEMENTATION OF THE UNIFIED SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL SUBJECT OFFERING FOR

GRADES 11 AND 12 STARTING SCHOOL YEAR 2017-2018 AND SCHOOL YEAR 2018-
2019, RESPECTIVELY AND ONWARDS

To: Schools Division superintendents

All Others Concerned

1. This office has come up with a unified senior High school subject offering for
Grades 11 and 12 starting School Year 2017-2018 and School Year 2018-2019, respectively
and onwards.

2. The enclosed lists of subjects shall be offered in all public and private high schools
and state colleges and universities recognized to offer senior high school program. However,
the SHS subject offering per Regional Memorandum No.156, s. 2016 shall remain in effect
and shall be followed by the Senior High School Grade 12 students this School Year 2017-
2ol 8.

3. It is reiterated that such policy shall ascertain the accommodation of any SHS
student who maybe transferring from one SHS to another within the region without back
and/or advance subjects for that matter.

4. Further, all schools Division offices are advised to implement the activities for the
first three weeks of the Senior High School to help our SHS students adjust to SHS Program.
Teachers may download the Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) using the Department of Education
(DepEd) Google Drive through
https://drive.google.com/open?id=OBWBTd9r7nAh3TE9HQndYajFKZUE and may adapt or
modify these activities to suit the needs of their classes.

5. Any sHs implementer deviating the subject offering and non-implementing the
Grade 11 3-week DLLs shall be dealt with accordingly.

1. The Department of Education Regional once No. VIII through the curriculum and
Leaming Management Division (CLMD) has come up with a Unified Senior High School Grade
11 and 12 Suty.ects to be offered during the First and Second Semesters both for School Year
2016-2017 and 2017-2018.

2. The SHS subjects herein listed in the attached enclosure will be offered in all the public
senior high schools, private high schools and state colleges and universities recognized to offer
SHS for School Year 2016-2017. Such a policy will ascertain the accommodation of any SHS
student who maybe be transferring from one SHS to another within the region without back
and/or advance subjects for that matter.

3. Further, all the schcols Division offices are advised to display the list of sHs both public
and private with the approved SHS tracks/strands/rvL spec.ialization offerings at the division
offices, in strategic areas within the municipalfty and at the polling precincts for wider
awareness of our parents and stakeholders. This Office will release a template for SHS
advocaey materials re list of schools with complete track offerings.
