Build a Meal Performance Task

Instructions: Students will be given a large, white piece of paper with a blank MyPlate graphic
drawn on it. Using the knowledge gained from our nutrition unit, students will label each section
of the graphic with the appropriate food group. Then, they will draw food items in the
appropriate section of the plate to show a well-rounded meal of their choosing. Additionally,
students will label their food items.
