Generation Z learns in fully phygital classrooms. They tend to learn visually through
videos, experiments, VR, and by experience. They expect to learn at their own pace, and
have a shorter attention span. Members of Generation Z expect information to be fed to
them right in front of their mouth, in simple terms, they expect the information to be
delivered to them. Millennials, on the other hand, learn in a traditional classroom with
some technological additions. They learn primarily from lectures and textbooks, and
multimedia lessons are a novelty. They adapt to a single learning pace for everyone, and
their attention span is much longer than those of the Gen Z’s. They actively seek out
information unlike the members of Gen Z. Despite the differences in learning style, both
generations still need teachers to guide them.
