Guidance Counseling Program Accomplishment Report

GUIDANCE SERVICES

A. ORIENTATION/INFORMATION SERVICE
- This service is vital in assisting the students get acquainted with the school’s vision,
mission and goals, rules and regulations, services offered, grading system, policies and
standards. This also an avenue for the pupils and parents to get to know with the different
school officials, teachers, class advisers, school support staff and to locate the different
offices and sections of the school, it is also aimed at facilitating and motivating the students
in making wise decisions and planning to meet the challenges and opportunities for self-
improvement.
Specific Activities:

- General Orientation of all pupils


- Orientation of new pupils and transferees regarding school rules and
regulation.
- Conduct of Parent’s Orientation/Consultation

B. INDIVIDUAL INVENTORY SERVICE


-This service aimed at gathering and synthesizing the information and data if
pupils as they progress in their personal educational development. This includes Home
and Family Background, Medical, Dental and Physical Status, Test Results and
Interpretations, School Records and Parental Interviews, Homeroom Teachers’
Evaluation, Co-curricular/Extra- Curricular Activities and Home Visitation.

C. PUPIL’S COUNSELING
-Every teacher is a guidance counselor who is responsible in leading the young to
the right direction and giving them pieces of advices on their rights and responsibilities as
a person. This may done if a certain pupil commits wrong doings and with this he/she is
advice for counseling so that he/she may be reminded for his/her right behavior and
attitude.

-Data for counseling or number of pupils in a certain time/month is not available


since this event/counseling may happen as need arises.

D. HOME VISITATION
-Teacher should visit the home of his/her pupil if he/she detects that something is
wrong or inconsistent to his/her behavior that needs intervention and increase number of
tardiness.

E. RECOMMENDATION
-The following recommendations were suggested:

a. further training/seminar for the school administration, school guidance in-charge and
all teachers.
b. VMG for the guidance program must be unified
c. reports/templates must be oriented before the classes start
