    I. OBJECTIVES
    At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
    a. identify the basic dance steps in 2/4 time signature.
    b. demonstrate the basic step pattern in 2/4 time signature.
    c. perform the basic dance steps in 2/4 time signature.

    II.Subject Matter: Basic Dance Steps in 2/4 Time Signature

    - The teacher play a short clip video of some basic dance steps

     After presenting the short video, the teacher will ask what are those dance
    steps they have seen in the video

     The teacher will divide the group into 3
     The teacher will give a step pattern and they will guess what step pattern
    it

     The teacher will perform the basic dance steps in 2/4 time signature

    c.3 Abstraction
     What is the basic dance steps in 2/4 time signature?
     How can we perform the step pattern of Mincing Step?

    c.4 Application
    Instructions:
     The teacher will give them basic dance steps in 2/4 time signature and
    they will perform it based on the step pattern.
    Group 1- Touch Step, Blecking step, Close step, Touch step
    Group 2- Slide step, ,Swing step, Cross step, Slide step
    Group 3- Hop step, Habanera, Mincing step, Shuffling step

    IV. Assessment
    Matching type
    Directions: In 1/4 sheet of paper match the correct pattern of the basic dance
    steps in 2/4 time signature.
    1. Touch step a. heel place, close
    2. Blecking step b. step, close, step
    3. Close step c. point, close f.
    4. Swing step d. step close
    5. Slide step e. step hop
    6. Hop step f. cross, step, close, step
    7. Habanera g. slide step
    8. Shuffling step h. step swing
    9. Cross step i. with both feet flat on the floor, make
    tiny slides sideward
    10. Mincing step j. with feet in 5th position, raise heels
    and take as many tiny slides sideward
    (1 step count)

    V. Assignment
    Directions: In a group, create a video with the following dance steps in
    proper sequence:
    1. Touch Step 8 measures
    2. Bleking Step 8 measures
    3. Slide step 8 measures
    4. Close Step 8 measures
    5. Slide step 8 measures
    6. Swing step 8 measures
    7. Cross step 8 measures
    8. Hop step 8 measures
    9. Habanera 8 measures
    10. Mincing step (1 step count)
    11. Shuffling step (1 step count)
