Question 1
a) Identify and explain the research problem of this study.
In this situation, the major study challenge is to discover the many sorts of elements
that might have a direct or indirect influence on students' overall performance.
There are a variety of elements that might have a direct or indirect influence on a
student's level of performance, ranging from class size to instructor inventiveness
and government assistance.
The research problem is as below:
To determine the effect of class size, teacher's creativity, government support, and
various other factors on the performance of the student
b) Identify your dependent and independent variables.
Dependent variables fluctuate when the value of other variables changes.
Independent variables, on the other hand, are those with the capacity to change the
values of other variables.
The dependent and independent variables in the following scenario are as follows:
Dependent variable= Performance of the student
Independent variable= Class size, the creativity of the teacher, government support
c) Conceptualize your dependent and independent variables through framework
model.

The dependent and independent variables are conceptualized as below:

STUDENT PERFORMANCE

Dependent variables Independent variables

TEACHERS CLASS SIZE GOOVERNMENT

CREATIVITY SUPPORT

d) State the Research Questions of this study.

What elements have a direct or indirect influence on pupils' overall performance?
e) Write the Research Objectives of this study.
The various research objectives are as below:
1. to examine the effects of various factors on student performance,
2. to determine how student performance may be improved
3. to identify the different elements that institutions may utilize to improve student
performance
4. to describe the many procedures and elements that may be employed to improve
a student's performance
f) State your hypotheses.
1.If we reduce the number of students in a class, the performance of the students
can be improved
2.The creative teachers help in enhancing the student's performance
3.By extending the government support, the performance of the students can be
improved
Question 2
a) Accurate purpose statement
To identify the monetary and non-monetary elements that would function as highly
motivating incentives for workers, such as offering monetary prizes or flexible
working hours, in order to boost worker productivity.

b) Techniques to be implemented for collecting research information and data

The primary data collecting approach would be more trustworthy than secondary
data in gathering research information and data. Primary data is information
gathered directly from the study's subjects, whereas secondary data is information
gleaned from previously published literature or research projects. Primary research
would be the most appropriate approach since the employees on whom the research
study is to be done are known and particular.
Data would be collected from workers via questionnaires, with certain workers'
representatives, such as supervisors or union leaders, being interviewed for the
purpose of data collecting.
c) The method applied for analyzing collected details.
The data obtained may be analyzed using the pivot table and charts to discover how
many or how much of a percentage of workers feel monetary awards are more
effective than non-monetary rewards. The table or graph would show the
percentage of workers who are more inclined to one side or the other. The side to
which the majority of worker’s lean will serve as a motivator for them.
d) Scope for the research study
The research study's goal is to assist the firm in discovering the motivating elements
for employees so that they may increase their productivity. This would enable the
firm to increase output and generate more money.
e) Type of sampling strategy used and appropriate sample size and the unit of
analysis.
Simple random sampling would be the sort of sampling technique employed in this
research study since it would aid to eliminate biased research outcomes. According
to the conventional sampling approach, 30% of the total available employees would
be deemed samples. Since 70% of the workers are production workers, 7000 workers
out of a total of 10,000 are production workers. As a result, a sample would consist
of (30/100) x 7000 = 2100 employees. The number of employees represented by
which side they belong would be the unit of analysis.
f) Measurement scale of analysis
The number of workers who represent whose side they are on, either the monetary
benefit side or the non-monetary benefit side, would be the measurement scale of
analysis. This would be established by using the data obtained from the employees
to produce the pivot table and pivot chart.
Question 3
A theoretical framework is formed based on certain well-established theories.
a) Why is it necessary to support the creation of a conceptual framework in
research?
A textual or visual depiction of the predicted relationship between variables is known
as an abstract framework. Variables are just qualities or attributes that must be
verified.
A literature study of current research and theories on the issue is generally used to
help build the abstract framework. A generic framework can be created in a number
of different ways. Yours will take on the shape you anticipate it to take based on the
kind of relationships you want to find.
The conceptual framework is similar to pre-planning in that it outlines what the
analysis can include. The location of the abstract framework, however, changes
between qualitative and quantitative investigation. The distinction in position is
explained in the table below. In the case of qualitative analysis, however, the
inductive stance is used, in which the researcher attempts to construct a hypothesis.
However, I should point out that those researchers who have an idea of what will be
included in the study may be considered as a provisional framework that can serve
as an inspiration but is frequently changed over time.
Many inputs are required while working with an abstract framework. The two main
sections are as follows:
1.Experiential Knowledge: technical data, background in analysis, and personal
competence.
2. Review of the literature: linked theory, connected analysis, and other theories and
analyses related to the topic.
3. Identify the major variables that were used in the study's topic space.
The abstract framework event is divided into three stages:
1.Draw important variables at intervals in a document you've already produced
about the issue space, such as a literature review.
2. If they are perennial to the goal, divide them into dependent and independent
factors.
3. Pick one critical variable and brainstorm all the possible outcomes (Dependent
variable).
4. After you've described all of the variables, focus on the amount of associations
they'll form with one another to discover how they're connected.
5. The arrows used to connect variables should be applied in the opposite way.
6. Always keep in mind that the creation of an abstract framework guides the
researcher to choose an acceptable analytical method.
b) Illustrate and suggest the possible problem statement based on the dependent
variable of a sample theory that you can use for preparation of a research project.
The majority of students and new researchers have little understanding of what a
pursuit proposal is or how important it is. A pursue proposal might be a detailed
explanation of a proposed research to investigate a specific disadvantage.
A research proposal's purpose is to persuade others that you have a good research
idea and that you have the abilities and time to execute it. Regardless of your
analysis area and, hence, the approach you pick, the analysis proposal should, in
general, answer the following questions: What you want to achieve, why you want to
attempt, and how are you going to get laid are all things you should consider. The
goal of this essay is to concentrate on the most important principles rather than go
into great detail about the topic.
It should be succinct and descriptive. It should be both educational and appealing.
Typically, names are unambiguous in terms of a beneficial connection, indicating the
independent and dependent variables explicitly. When the procedure is finished, the
title may need to be changed to better reflect the study's purpose.
It's a crucial aspect of deciding on a career path. It will direct and concentrate the
analysis approach being considered for determining the issue. It allows the
investigator to describe the issue consistently, reflect on its relevance and priority in
the country and area, and explain why the planned analysis on the subject should be
carried out. It also makes it easier for funding agencies to review the research
proposal. the investigators to familiarize themselves with available data on the
analytical flaw and to check whether others have looked into a similar or related
problem. An extensive and important examination of the literature, as well as
personal conversation with consultants, are used to complete this phase.
It aids in gaining a better knowledge of the subject under investigation and will lead
to the processing of the subject's statement, the identification of study variables and
the creation of their links through mental act, and the development and selection of
a research hypothesis.
It guarantees that you aren't "reinventing the wheel" and shows that you are aware
of the problem. It gives credit to those who ordered the background research for
your upcoming study. The literature review in an excessive proposal is generally brief
and relevant. The material chosen should be relevant and timely.
Question 4
During an interview, sensitive questions might make the data collection process
difficult and ineffective.
Three causes for this include when the interviewer asks questions that make the
responder feel as though they made a different decision than the rest of the
respondents and that they are humiliated about it.
Unresponsiveness is frequently caused by a poor survey structure and poor
questionnaire targeting.
It might also be the result of the respondent making a hasty decision not to disclose
their information publicly.
Now we'll look at three different types of inquiries that lead to unresponsive biases.
1. Emotionally distressing inquiries, such as those that require respondents to
describe their trauma or health concerns in depth, may cause individuals to feel
uneasy or even depressed. This might be one of the reasons for the respondents'
refusal to reply.
Example of a question: If we hire you, could you tell us more about your health
condition and how it could influence your work?
2. Asking questions on abortion, racism, colorism, sexism, and other topics that
advocate for unpopular behavior. The reply may or may not be in favor of those
issues, and may fear being judged or losing an opportunity for having such an
opinion, thus they may just choose not to react in order to escape it entirely.
Example of question: do you support any of the below?
• Abortion
• Racism
• Sexism
• Colorism
Give your explanation below.
3.Questionnaires with socially desired responses, for example, may contain answer
alternatives where some of them are in favor of society, and choosing that will make
you more socially desirable, but it will also require the responder to lie about how
they really feel. As a result, the responder may just ignore it. Questions with socially
desired answers might range from who we choose to vote for to whether we are
eager to exercise or not at all.
Example of a question: in the upcoming election, who will you vote for?
How often do you work out?
