Design, Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of underground HSD (High Speed Diesel) storage tank . HSD Tank shall be
designed as per IS 10987 & for below ground installation. Tank shall be provided with Foundation bolts of grade 8.8 or as per
design requirements, Outlet, Inlet, Manhole, Calibration dipstick, Overflow, Vent (With spark arrestor), and flame arrestor &
associated works & with all neccessary signages required for HSD yard etc. Tank will be(6 mm thick shell , 10mm thick end plate
& wear plate to be 8mm) as per IS 10987. Tank shall be designed for Seismic load conditions as per the latest IS-1893 & IS-875 &
IS-800. The tanks to be tested for leaks under water fill test. Rate quoted shall include for necessary transportation, loading,
unloading at site as directed.(Related civil works for tank foundation shall be done by other agency).
Design & operating parameters of the tank as given below:
a) Working Pressure - Atmospheric,
b) Working Temperature - Ambient (Maximum : 45 ºC, Minimum: 5 ºC),
1 c) Design Pressure - The tank should be designed for a pressure of 0.05 Mpa when full of water and for external earth pressure
when its empty.
d) Design Temperature - The design temperature will be the lowest one day mean temperature where the tank is installed
e) Corrosion Allowance - 1.5mm,
f) Joint Efficiency - 0.85, Radiography - 10% of weld joint, DP test 100% of weld joints
g) Painting requirements : 2 coats Zinc Chromite Primer of 35 micron per coat and 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint for
storage tank of 25 micron per coat.
Note: civil foundation design details including buoyancy calculations and other loading considerations will be given by the
vendor.
Note: Vendor to specify whether Asphalt doping will be done for corrosion protection of tanks or some alternate method

GEAR PUMP

Supply, installation,testing and commissioning of horizontally mounted single stage Gear oil pumps suitable for unloading and
transfer of diesel complete with TEFC flame proof motors suitable for gas Group IIA/IIB suitable for 415 +/- 5% volts, 3 phase,
2 50Hz Ac supply and of suitable HP, with efficiency class IE2 or better, IP55 rating ,class F insulation. It shall be complete with
proper connection to suction and delivery line all interlocks and instruments etc.

Suction side- Y strainer, ball valves, blind flange, companion flanges and delivery side- NRV, pressure gauge with ball valve, ball
valve, blind flange & companion flanges for each pump, nut, bolt, gaskets etc.

Common base plate of required strength manufactured out of MS channels. Including two coats of Synthetic enamel paint over
two coats of primer complete as required. Minimum paint DFT should be 100 micron.

Coupling and coupling guard for direct coupling of pump and motor. Finger proof access guard to be included.

Design, Supply, fabrication and fixing structural steel works (Mild Steel) for supports in MS angle / channels, box sections etc as
per drawing or as per instructions at site. Rate quoted shall include for supply, providing necessary welding, cutting, anchor

Method of measurement:-Structural steel will be measured based on actual quantity placed in position as per approved shop
drawing,on standard weight basis.No allowance will be made for rolling margin,wastage,weld weight and fasteners.

B PIPING

a) Supply, Unloading, Storage, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of MS Class C (Heavy duty) ERW pipe in accordance with
IS 1239 and neccessary fiitings like tee, elbows, junction, union, bends, plugs etc., Including clamps hangers, nut bolts etc for
pipe supports.
b) HSD pipe shall be painted with 2 coats of zinc chromate and 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade. The total
DFT should be 100 micron on average. Color band and color coding should be painted on line as per IS 2379

4 c) DP test of 10% of all weld joint

d) All flange joint and accessories shall be interconnected with copper, braided flexible earth bond for equipotential earthing.
f) All required consumable and labor etc . for working at all elevation including necessary scaffolding arrangement.

g) Static electricity bonding jumpers from flange to flange connection shall be connected with 8 SWG braided flexible copper
jumper

C ELECTRICAL

Design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical control panel anchoring on floor including
10 supporting arrangement. The panel shall be suitable for 415 volts, 50 cycles 4 wire supply system. All internal wiring with in the
panel and copper earthing, painting etc. (Form 2 b construction, Outdoor type )

All live accessible parts of panel shall be shrouded and all equipment shall be finger touch proof. The Busbars shall be fully
insulated with heat shrinkable sleeves and should withstand busbar temp. The busbar support insulators should be SMC or
equivalent. Provision for padlocking isolating switches and load break switches lockable in OFF position. The panel shall meet
criterias as per PESO guildlines for safety. Control voltage 110 volt ac through 55-0-55 central tapped control transformer.

All kA ratings indicated shall be Ics vlaues- 25 ka. The incoming and outgoing circuit breaker sizing and major components to be
submitted along with the tender. A brief writeup on the control philosophy for fully automatic operation will also be
submitted along with the tender.

GA drawings shall be got approved from Owners/Architects/ Consultants before fabrication.
