    STAY SAFE STAY HOME

    Dear Parents,
    Summer holiday is the best time of the year when you get an opportunity to spend maximum
    time with your child. In these days when the world is facing this pandemic situation COVID 19,
    we get more time to spend with our family. It doesn’t mean that we cannot enjoy vacation at
    home. So, we should engage our children in fun filled activities to make these days full of fun.

    So, here are few interesting activities to keep you going through the summer break.

    • Communication skills play a vital role in grooming the overall personality. Try to
    converse regularly with your child preferably in English.
    • Make them learn to take care of plants & animals around you. Water the plants at your
    home or garden every day.
    • Keep a bowl of water outside in the balcony or on the terrace for the birds to drink as it
    is very hot.
    Some points should keep in mind and follow on regular basis for good
    health and hygiene are:
    • Wash your hands before and after meals till 20 seconds.
    • Cover your face with tissue or handkerchief when you sneeze or cough.
    • Don’t go outside the home without any emergency.
    • Trim your nails regularly.
    • Brush your teeth twice a day.
    • Take a bath every day.
    • Always throw garbage into the dustbin and keep your surroundings clean.
    • Never throw things out of the windows of the car or school bus.
    • Switch off lights/fans when you do not require them.
    • Save water by closing the taps after use.

    pictures of Fruits or Vegetables on an A-4
    sheet and get it laminated.

    2. ‘Tell a Tale Make your ward prepare


    any story (English) and the child will be
    narrating the story with the help of flash
    card in front of his/her peer group.

    * Props are mandatory while narrating


    the story.

    Social Development
    • Make him / her learn any one poem with actions on ‘Health and
    Hygiene’.
    • Teach your child to keep his/ her toys and belongings back in their
    place.
    • On every 21st June , Father’s Day is
    celebrated worldwide to recognize the
    contribution that fathers and father
    figures make to the lives of their
    children.
    Dear children,
    Let’s decorate the tie, wrap it and
    gift it to your hero, your dad.
    Enjoy this summer holidays by staying at
    home, spending quality time with your
    family members, eating healthy food at
    home and playing indoor games.
