II. CURRICULUM CONTENTS (Specific and details of the concepts, skills, values to be
learned)
Get from K to 12 reference or text books.
 CONCEPT: Humans Sense Organs
 SKILLS: Touching, hearing, smelling, and taste
 VALUES:
 We should take care of our eyes
 Read and work under good light
 Do not rub your eyes with dirty fingers or handkerchief
III. SOURCES AND MATERIALS
 A big poster of the parts of the eyes and video of the parts of the eyes (if possible)
IV. LEARNING EXPERIENCES/ACTIVITIES
1. Write the complete steps on how to do the activity by the learners.
 Identify the parts of eyes
 Describe the parts and function of the eyes; and
 Identify healthful habits for the eyes
2. Make at least three learning activities to achieve the Performance Standard and Learning
Competency.
 Let the pupils stand and get a partner. Say: Look at the eyes of your partner. Draw
the parts that you see.
 Give the pupils 10 mins. To do it. Say: Compare your drawing with your partner.
Do they have common parts?
 Tell the class that they are going to study the different parts of the eyes and its
function.
V. EVALUATION/ASSESSMENT
1. Write the specific test items for the written assessment.
I. Put a check (/) in the box if it shows the proper way of caring for the eyes and put a (x)if it
does not.
1. Read in a place with enough light.
2. Rub the eyes with hands when itchy.
3. Rest the eyes after reading for a long period.
4. Look at the sun directly.
5. Consult a doctor when having an eye problem.

2. Describe and state the details of the Performance or Project.


 Assignment
Let the pupils answer the following:
1. Find out who wears eyeglass in your family. Ask the reason why they are usin
g eyeglass
2. Is playing computer games for a long period good for eyes? What should you
do to take care of your eyes?
